Caldecott Chosen For Green Tokens Scheme
The Caldecott Foundation is delighted to have been chosen by John Lewis (Home), Ashford to benefit from the company’s Community Matters “Green Tokens” scheme.
Every three months, John Lewis and Partners’ shops nominate three community groups or charities to support. Each store has £3000 to donate per quarter – to share amongst the nominees proportionally, according to how customers have voted.
Customers can choose which charity or community group to vote for by using a green token, and so are directly involved in deciding how much share each organisation receives.
From now, until April 2019, shoppers visiting John Lewis (Home) in Ashford will be able to vote for the Caldecott Foundation as one of the charities to have been selected for the scheme.
Caldecott’s Fundraising Manager, Karin Moncrieff, said, “We are all very thrilled and excited to have been chosen and look forward to working with John Lewis (Home) in Ashford over the next few months.”
